NocoDB
NocoDB adds a spreadsheet-like interface, relations, Grid, Kanban, Gallery, Form, Calendar and Map views, comments, roles, webhooks, and APIs to structured data, available through managed cloud or a self-deployed Community edition.
Why use it
For teams already storing asset, content, or operations data in PostgreSQL or MySQL, it gives design, production, and live-operations staff a controlled editor without commissioning another admin application. One data model can drive vendor-delivery registers, level checklists, store configuration, community calendars, and read-only review views, while conditional webhooks connect builds, notifications, or approvals.
Where it fits
Find engines, frameworks, code libraries, version control, and production automation.
What to check
In 2026 NocoDB moved from AGPL to the non-OSI Sustainable Use License, permitting internal business use or noncommercial distribution but not resale of the software itself as a paid service; it is therefore source-available, not open source. Cloud Free, Community, and paid editions differ in permissions, external-database connections, automation, and security, while self-hosting adds migrations, backups, attachments, access control, and upgrades.
