Squib
An open Ruby DSL that reads YAML, CSV, or spreadsheets and programmatically draws cards, sheets, and paper prototypes to PNG, PDF, or SVG.
Why use it
When values and copy change often, designers can edit data once and regenerate a whole deck for balance iterations and version comparisons.
Where it fits
Use prototypes and playtests to find core experience problems while they are still cheap to fix.
What to check
It requires programming and typography knowledge, projects own image and font licensing, and flexible scripts need team template conventions.
